Border Crossing Collective Performance @ LIU Dance Faculty Concert

On Friday October 15th, I presented my first piece with my dance company, Border Crossing Collective, at the Long Island University (Brooklyn Campus) Dance Faculty Concert.  It is a yet to be titled work-in-progress that will eventually be a part of a much larger piece; it's kind of like my baby right now, so I'm excited (and a little nervous) to share this with you.  The music was composed by Fortune, with lyrics and performance provided by, the MarXman.  Huge thank you to my dancers: Michelle Lawton, Mone't Freeman, Meghan Meisters and my partner-in-crime, Elena Vazintaris, for all of their support and hard work.  I literally could not have done this without them.  Thank you for watching and feel free to let me know what you think in the comment section.

Performance photos by: Julieta Cervantes. From L to R: Michelle, Mone't, me, Elena, the MarXman, Meghan.
